What we need…

COCC’s Loans team is looking for an Application Specialist with a passion for providing exceptional service to our clients by promptly and professionally fielding department phone calls and emails. In this position, you will also perform maintenance, testing and issue triage, as well as decide when to escalate issues with internal partners in order to expedite resolution. This position will be five days onsite throughout the initial training period of approximately three months and will move to a hybrid schedule once proficiency is demonstrated. Hours are 8:30am-5:30pm with a 1 hour lunch.

What you’ll do…

  • Front line support that answers e-mails and phone calls
  • Logs all appropriate information into system
  • Answers customer inquiries on reports regarding their use, balancing and interpretation
  • Answers customer inquiries regarding system use and procedures
  • Researches customer issue by reviewing system documentation, user manuals, and industry periodicals/websites
  • Assists users with processing routine transactions and problems involving workstation usage
  • Document system and/or procedural changes and communication information to client; may occasionally need to train clients on new functionalities

What you bring…

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business is preferred for this role but will consider appropriate work experience and/or relevant certifications.
  • Minimum of 2 year loan servicing experience (i.e. Mortgage, Consumer, or Commercial loan servicing)
  • Operations/technical experience in banking, finance, or mortgage industry
  • Excellent customer service skills requires
  • Exposure to investor processing (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHLB), new account setup, adjustable rate changes, interest accrual and payoff calculations and delinquent loan/credit bureau reporting
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and management both orally and in writing

Salary range for this role is $48,000-$63,000
